About the Speaker:
Yingting Zhang, one of the earliest officers for the PCE Club, served in several capacities in the club ranging from Executive Vice President (2003-2006) and President (2007-2008) to Chair of the Board of Directors (2008-2009). During those years, she helped draft the Club's mission, policies and operating procedures, many of which are still used in operation. She was also one of the main organizers for many early monthly events by hosting children talent shows, inviting speakers, and writing event announcements and summaries. Many event reports can still be found in the Club's yahoo list. As one of the initial organizers for the Conference on Chinese-American Parenting Practices (aka CAP), Yingting helped to organize several annual conferences by inviting keynote speakers, preparing programs, and writing related articles in the newspapers. She hosted the first three annual parenting conferences which attracted a huge audience.
In her professional life, Yingting is the President of Health Sciences Library Association of New Jersey (HSLANJ) 2015-2016. The PCE Club presents the 138th Monthly Event:

6/20/2015

Growing and Growing Up with PCE Club

Chinese Evangel Mission Church of New Jersey
11 Lexington Ave., East Brunswick, NJ 08816

If you are interested in learning what PCE Club did in its early years and how it has affected one parents parenting practices, you are welcome to join us in the PCE Club's 138th event. Since it was founded in 2003, the Club has been a great platform for parents to share experiences and learn how to communicate effectively with their children and to promote EQ parenting. For those parents who have been growing with PCE and those children who are growing up with PCE, you are welcome to share your stories how PCE had made impact on your relationship with your children. So this session will be comprised of two parts:
Featuring some of the early programs organized by PCE from 2003-2009;
Addressing the impact PCE has on ones parenting style.
