圆桌讨论会 � 围绕成功，适应社会，自我认可的话题

扪心自问：出生于移民家庭而成长于美国社会，咱们华裔后代的心理是怎样的一番感受？他们眼里的成功是否有别于我们的思维定势？咱们家长是否又能感悟到他们所面临的隐性压力？ 而家长又如何帮助他们领略中国传统文化的风采并引以为豪？细心而睿智的家长是否希望孩子能走自己的路，还是仅仅遵从父母的设想？

这周六应俱乐部之邀，将由Louise Kuo Habakus 主讲一场与此相关而又别开生面的子女教育讨论会，欢迎大家踊跃报名参加。

讲员简介:
Louise Kuo Habakus 作为两个孩子的母亲，她是�无所畏惧的父母�的执行理事及�无所畏惧的父母电台�的创办人兼主持人。她还是出版作家，运营着非盈利机构�个人权利中心�。她广泛演讲并出现在大量的媒体中，包括ABC今晚世界新闻, �福克斯&朋友�和《纽约时报》。Louise曾供职于金融系统，担任Bain 顾问以及C-level主管。她作为Phi Beta Kappa荣誉生毕业于斯坦福达大学， 获得国际关系和法国研究双学士, 以及国际政策研究硕士。Louise 曾就学于日本语言校际学习中心，就读于日本的美国学校，并毕业于Phillips Academy Andover。 她还拥有哥伦比亚大学师范学院所颁发的整合营养学证书，以及美国非药物协会所属的整体保健医生执照。

Round Table Discussion: A Parenting Conversation about Success, Fitting In, and Honoring Who We Are

Let's put ourselves in our children�s shoes for a minute: What is it like growing up in America as children of Chinese immigrant parents? How do their ideas of success differ from those of ours? What hidden pressures do they face that we should be aware of? How can we help our children appreciate and take pride in our Chinese culture and heritage? How can we become more mindful and attentive parents by seeing our children for who they really are instead of whom we want them to become?

Please join Louise Kuo Habakus this Saturday evening for a lively and interactive discussion on these and other parenting issues.

About the Speaker:
Louise Kuo Habakus is Executive Director of Fearless Parent, founder and host of Fearless Parent Radio, and mom of two. She is a published author, runs the non-profit Center for Personal Rights, lectures widely, and has appeared in numerous media outlets, including ABC World News Tonight, Fox & Friends, and The New York Times. Louise was a Bain consultant and a C-level executive in the financial services industry. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa (junior year elect) with Distinction and departmental honors from Stanford University, with a double major in international relations and French Studies, and a Master�s degree in international policy studies. Louise studied at the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies, attended the American School in Japan, and graduated from Phillips Academy Andover. She is certified in Integrative Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University, and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is a board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
